About:

Kati Goldstein is a writer and educator originally from Miami, Florida. She currently lives in Chicago, Illinois where she teaches English composition and literature courses at Wilbur Wright College. She received her BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Colorado College and her MFA in Poetry from Columbia College Chicago.

Her work has appeared in Voicemail Poems, Reality Hands, Red Eft Review, Inferior Planets, Phantom Books, and Columbia Poetry Review, among other publications. Her chapbook Binge Watch was published by Finishing Line Press in 2017 as part of the “New Women’s Voices” series. She has contributed to textbooks including Engaging Communities: Writing Ethnographic Research, and has facilitated workshops on digital literacy, deepening student engagement in remote learning environments, course design for remote learning, and other topics.

Throughout her career as an educator and writer, Kati has worked with hundreds of students and professionals on writing projects that have allowed them to progress their academic and career goals. She has helped students secure admission into undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs at schools such as Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt University, Northwestern University, and more.

When she isn’t writing or teaching others how to write, Kati runs a small online vintage shop with her twin sister, Dani, called Gold Again Vintage.
